Joe Rull is a seasoned government affairs, operations, and public policy leader with over three decades of experience navigating the intersection of government, community, and the private sector. His career is built on integrity, loyalty, and a genuine commitment to helping organizations engage effectively with government at every level.
Before founding MJR Consulting, Joe served as Chief Operating Officer for the City of Boston under Mayor Martin J. Walsh, managing daily city operations and leading major policy initiatives. Earlier, under Mayor Thomas M. Menino, he contributed to cornerstone projects including the South Boston Waterfront (Seaport) buildout and the creation of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
Joe also served as a Selectman in the Town of Norwell, bringing big-city operational experience to local government with a focus on fiscal planning, infrastructure, and community engagement.
